French WWI - Y strap as issued to every soldier to hold the weight of the 3 cartridges pouches, bayonet frog and e-tool on the belt. They have been in used from before WWI up to the 50's. There is no way to tell when they have been done. One guess is that 9 holes ones are really WWI as most of the people were smaller at this time. But 11 holes ones have been found with WWI stampes and dated. Anyway, they look more done later so sold as is and cheap. They are having the good "fauve" color which is what is essential. The ones from the 50 are having like a beige plastic color completly diferent.
